Organic Chicken Paella Recipe

All you need is a medium to large size paella pan, some organic chicken breast, bomba rice, and other common ingredients you probably have in your cupboards.

Organic Chicken Paella Recipe
One serving of this taste bud tantalizing recipe will give you the flavor and nutrition you need to get through your day! Organic chicken breasts are full of healthy protein without the excess fats of other cuts of meat. The lean protein is easier to digest because organic chicken breast contains none of the steroids and chemicals of other types of chickens that are given antibiotics and other compounds.
1.25 to 1.50 lbs of Organic Chicken Breast
5 tablespoons of authentic Italian Basso Organic Olive Oil
1.5 Bell Peppers
1 large Organic Yellow Onion
3 Cloves of fresh Organic Garlic
1.2 lbs of Bomba Rice or other Paella Rice
4 cups of Organic Chicken Broth
2 large Organic Tomatoes
Half a gram of authentic Saffron
About 2 teaspoons of Organic Smoked Paprika
Salt and Pepper for seasoning to taste
1.25 cups of Organic Peas
Set your ingredients aside and cube your organic chicken breast. Once cut into pieces, you can brown your chicken. Add a tablespoon of Basso organic olive oil and throw in your chicken breast. You will want to cook the meat halfway, but not completely. The meat will finish cooking along with the rest of the ingredients. After you have finish cooking the chicken halfway, set it to the side.
Using a large Paella pan of at least 14+ inches in diameter, add around 2 – 3 tablespoons of Basso Organic Olive Oil. You then want to sauté your peppers first for a couple minutes before adding in your onions. Make sure your onions caramelize but do not burn. Your peppers will be thicker and require a little more cooking time. After around 10 minutes total, you should be ready for the next step.
This step you will finish making the base of the sofrito. Add your garlic and cook until fragrant and the pieces of garlic have mixed well into the sofrito. You want to ensure your sofrito is not too wet but not dry and burning either.
Add your rice to the sofrito and cook until the rice begins to absorb some flavor and heat up. You will want a hot pan and for the rice to start to gain some color. From there, you will also want to add your chicken broth and bring to a boil before quickly turning down to a simmer.
Once simmering, you can add your smoked paprika, saffron, tomatoes, and half-cooked chicken. At this point, you are basically done. Stir in all your ingredients to ensure all the flavors get to meet and incorporate into the dish.
Let your paella cook on simmer for around 30 minutes. You will want to check in 15 minutes to add additional water or broth. You do not need to use the whole cup if, for example, you used more tomatoes and already have enough moisture. However, you will want to make sure your rice is cooked through.
About 5 minutes before turning off the heat, add your peas. They will cook quickly. You can also add any additional herbs you may want to accent the taste of your paella. If you have any garnishes or extras like lemon zest or spices, you can add these after plating or after taking your organic paella off the heat.
Salt and pepper your paella to taste. You can also leave it on the side for your family and friends to add themselves to ensure everyone can salt and pepper to their tastes.
